Oral Health Ohio is serving on advisory committees for two statewide efforts to improve the health and well-being of school-aged children and their families.

Appalachian School Community Resource Centers

Lead by the Appalachian Children Coalition, this work includes building a network of school-based health clinics, wraparound services, and Center for Prevention Programming. See Gov. DeWine’s press release about funding toward these efforts.

State Network for Ohio Community Learning Centers:

Lead by the Community Learning Institute, this network will serve as the entity to assist school districts and communities in the development of their schools as community learning centers (CLCs).
