The Ohio Department of Health Bureau of Maternal, Child and Family Health has released a new funding opportunity through Ohio Buys:

59392 – Integration of Oral Health into Primary Care Settings for Children

The goal of this project is to improve oral health outcomes for children in nine priority counties by integrating oral health services into primary care and other non-dental settings.

The priority counties include:

  • Clinton

  • Crawford

  • Gallia

  • Highland

  • Hocking

  • Monroe

  • Noble

  • Paulding

  • Washington

This work will focus on two main objectives:

  1. Increase the use of fluoride varnish by non-dental providers.

  2. Increase the number of children age five and under who have a dental visit.
