New Report: Ohio Pre K-12 Health Education Standards

Health education standards set the expectations for what students should know and be able to demonstrate in various topics. Ohio is the only state that has not adopted health educations standards.


This summary report reviews where Ohio stands on health education standards and opportunities for oral health topics to be included in any comprehensive health education program.


Current initiatives to adopt health education standards and model curricula include Ohio HB 165 and SB 121.
