Our Impact

Even seemingly small changes and steps toward progress can create a massive impact. 

 

Recent Impact Areas:

Working with Alta Head Start in Youngstown, Ohio, communication material was developed on the importance of primary (baby) teeth, which are attached to failed dental exams that go home to caregivers. 
Connecting school-based health centers with state level resources to resolve barriers around reimbursement for transportation services.

Advocating for new tools in caries management—such as reimbursement of Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) as a treatment of caries (tooth decay).
